Beads and Findings was born from a lifelong passion for jewelry.
I was born in Egypt, where my father had a small workshop crafting fine jewelry. As a child, I would spend summers by his side, watching him shape metals and transform raw materials into something beautiful. Those early days sparked my fascination with jewelry — not just the finished piece, but the entire process of creating it.
When I grew older, I went on to study engineering at university. Even then, I dreamed of designing machines that could produce chains by the meter in different styles, and of understanding how metals and materials combined to create jewelry that looked so natural and timeless.
Life brought me to the United States after marriage, but my passion for jewelry never faded. Here, I discovered a new world — crafters, designers, and hobbyists who were creating stunning custom jewelry from beads and findings. Seeing how people expressed their imagination with these materials inspired me deeply.
